Docmind turns your PDFs, videos, web pages and notes into an AI research notebook. Every answer is grounded in your sources with a citation for each claim — and an honest “not found” when the answer isn't there.
What drove the churn increase in Q3, and what did the team recommend?
Monthly churn rose from 3.1% to 4.6%. The main driver was drop-off during the first 14 days of onboarding1, compounded by the annual-plan price change announced in July2.
The team recommended a guided setup checklist and grandfathering existing annual customers for one renewal cycle13.

How it works
From a pile of files to cited answers in three steps
No prompt engineering, no copy-pasting into chat windows. Add sources once and ask as many questions as you like.
01
Add your sources
Upload PDFs and images up to 100 MB, paste notes, or drop in a YouTube or web link. Keep each project in its own workspace.
02
Docmind reads everything
Each source is parsed, split into passages and indexed for meaning and keywords — then summarised with key points, topics and suggested questions.
03
Ask, then verify in a click
Ask in plain language. Every claim in the answer links to the exact page or excerpt it came from, so checking takes seconds.
Why Docmind
Built for answers you can actually trust
Generic chatbots sound confident whether or not they're right. Docmind is designed around evidence: find it, show it, and admit when it isn't there.
Every claim, cited
Inline markers link each sentence to the passage behind it — with page numbers for PDFs — so you can quote with confidence and spot-check in one click.

What kinds of sources can I add?
PDFs, images (text is extracted automatically), YouTube videos (via their transcripts), public web pages, and plain text, Markdown, CSV or JSON — uploaded as files or pasted in directly. Files up to 100 MB are supported.
Will Docmind make things up?
Docmind is built to answer only from the sources in your workspace. Every factual claim is cited back to a numbered source. If your sources don't contain the answer, it tells you so instead of guessing.
How are citations shown?
Answers include inline markers like [1] and [2]. Each one links to the exact excerpt it came from — including the page number for PDFs — so you can verify any claim in a click.
Can I choose which documents an answer uses?
Yes. Every ready source has a toggle, so you can include or exclude documents from a conversation's context without deleting anything.
How is Docmind different from pasting a document into a chatbot?
Docmind indexes your sources once, then uses hybrid semantic and keyword retrieval with reranking to find the most relevant passages across all of them. That means it scales past context-window limits and stays tied to your material.
Is my data private?
Your documents are stored in your workspace and are only used to answer your questions — never to train models. Enterprise teams can self-host Docmind with their own storage and vector database.
Your sources already have the answers. Start asking.
Create a workspace, drop in your first document and get a cited answer in under a minute.
